These Dresser style Bookshelves and Cupboards were fitted in the Dining room of a large Victorian family house in Trowbridge.
The upper Dresser style Bookshelves are actually in three units, each with two rigid box section shelves for structural stability. Between the box section shelves are three adjustable height / removable shelves for books and ornaments.
Below the bookshelves is a set of cupboards each of which contains an adjustable height / removable shelf.
Separating the bookshelves above from the cupboards below is a polished Solid American Oak worktop. This Worktop has a Bull-nose moulding running round the front and sides.
The turned solid oak Door Knobs are polished to match the Solid oak worktop and the plinth beneath.
The Bookshelf units and Cupboards are painted in Farrow and Ball's 'Pointing 2003'.
"We have hired Robert on four separate occasions for a range of bespoke
carpentry projects, and we couldn't be happier with the results. His
attention to detail and craftsmanship are truly exceptional. From
intricate woodworking to flawless finishes, every aspect of the projects
exceeded our expectations.
Throughout the process, Robert maintains excellent communication,
listens attentively to our ideas and offers valuable insights. Despite
the complexity of the projects, Robert completed the work within the
agreed-upon timeline, demonstrating both efficiency and skill. The final
products not only meets but exceeds our expectations in terms of quality
and durability.
Overall, I believe the investment was well worth it, considering the
level of craftsmanship and service provided.
I would highly recommend Robert to anyone in need of bespoke carpentry
work and would not hesitate to hire him again for future projects. "
